Measure & Calculate

How do I measure my wall?

Measure the width and height of the complete wall. If any section of the wall has different lengths, measure the widest (or highest) point of the wall. Keep in mind to double-check all edges and the middle of the wall to confirm your measurements. If they differ, use the largest one. The wallpaper is printed in the exact measurements provided. We suggest adding a minimum of 2 cm to the width and height measurements if the wall is uneven. If you are covering a corner, add a minimum of 2 cm to the width for every corner.

How do I know how much Wallpaper I need?

If you have measured your wall, all you need to do is input those measurements into our ordering calculator (available on each product page). The calculator will provide the exact wall area and calculate the Wallpaper price.

How is the price calculated?

The price calculation is simple. Depending on your measurements, the wall area is calculated and displayed in square meters (m2). The Wallpaper price equals the product of the wall area and the Wallpaper unit price. Depending on the weight of the Wallpaper, shipping will be calculated during checkout and applied to the sum.

What about slanted ceilings or windows?

In most cases, if your wall has a moderately slanted ceiling, you still need to disregard it and measure based on the highest point of the wall. However, if the slant angle is significant, contact us to find the best solution for you.

Windows are calculated as wall area. In rare cases where the windows are taking a large portion of the wall (e.g. double glass doors with a slight wall overhang on top), it's possible to print out only a partial section of the wall to reduce waste. However, in such cases, it's best to consult with our team before ordering.

Regarding Wallpaper installation, slanted ceilings and windows do not cause any installation problems, however, keep in mind that they could knock-out certain motifs out of the Wallpaper. To avoid such unforeseen scenarios, it's best to consult and use our visualization feature to get an exact idea of how the installed Wallpaper could look like.

What is the minimum order size?

A minimum of 3m2 per Wallpaper is required to complete an order.

Will the Wallpaper fit my wall?

You might have a different wall setup than compared to our storefront product images and that's completely OK. All of our Wallpapers are custom-designed exclusively for your wall. Wallpaper motifs will be re-arranged manually by our design team to resemble the initial design concept. By doing so, we ensure that you have a one-off product, tailored to your wall exclusively.

Can I get a preview of my Wallpaper?

Yes! A photorealistic visualization of your room featuring the Wallpaper of choice (or more of them) can help you to decide if it will fit your room as imagined, free of charge. Choose the visualization option displayed on each product page and follow a few steps to send your visualization request.

What is the visualisation turnaround time?

The turnaround time for visualisations is 1 working day. A prerequisite for a successful turnaround is that you have provided all necessary information through our visualization form. Of course, in case anything is missing or not clear, our team will contact you via email.

How many visualisations may I order for free?

There is no set limit on requests you can send. However, we kindly suggest to contact us in case you have multiple Wallpapers you can't decide upon. In that case, our team will gladly make a suggestion based on your requirements.

Ordering & Payment

What should I consider before placing an order?

Ensure accuracy in your wall measurements before placing an order, as our wallpapers are custom-made and specific to your wall dimensions. Incorrect measurements may lead to ineligibility for returns. Should measurement concerns arise post-order, we're here to assist in finding a resolution.

How are credit card payments processed?

We accept Visa, MasterCard through Stripe and Paypal. Dreamhood Wallpapers ensures your payment security without storing card details. Upon successful payment, an order confirmation will be sent to your email.

How quickly do you dispatch orders after purchase?

While we don't ship orders immediately due to our wallpapers being custom-made for each wall, we ensure a swift process. Every order is processed within one working day and dispatched within 2-3 working days, aiming to get your bespoke wallpaper to you as quickly as possible.

Packaging & Shipping

How is the Wallpaper packaged?

Secure packaging of your order is a priority. Your Wallpaper will be sealed and packed in a cardboard tube, resistant to moisture and impact.

How long is the delivery time?

Delivery time varies based on your location. Once your order is complete, reserve 3-5 days for delivery within the EU. Once the order is taken over by the carrier, you will receive an email with tracking information.

Where do you ship?

All of our products are shipped door-to-door within the EU. All orders are tracked.

Is the delivery door-to-door?

Yes. As long as you have provided an accurate address, you should get your order delivered to your door.

Can I track my order?

Yes. All orders are sent using tracked shipping. Once the order has been taken over by our carrier, you will receive the tracking information via email.

Returns & Exchanges

What should I do if my wallpaper arrives with flaws?

Before applying paste or hanging your custom wallpaper on the wall, it is crucial to thoroughly inspect the product to ensure there are no production defects. The wallpaper must remain undamaged for us to facilitate a replacement. If you identify any flaws, please contact us immediately before installation, and we will provide a replacement at no extra charge, ensuring you receive a perfect product.

What happens if I receive wallpaper in the wrong dimensions?

If the wallpaper you receive does not match the dimensions you provided, we will replace it free of charge. However, for discrepancies due to incorrect measurements supplied by you, while a refund is not possible, we invite you to contact us to explore a feasible solution tailored to your situation.
